1000th Post

Today marks my 1000th post.  1000 times I've sat at my computer and pounded out my thoughts about this administration and their devastating agenda for you and me. 1000 times, my babies.  Relatively speaking, that's a big number.

I started this blog reluctantly.  I didn't want to be that ranter on the Internets (thanky Al Gore!), talking doom and gloom about Barry and Crew, but everything in me told me to proceed.  I could see where we were headed and I needed to get my thoughts down.  For whom?  I have no idea, maybe just for me, to help me feel better that I said it, or to simply bear witness to the unraveling of our beloved America.  So, here I sat.  And watched.  And reacted.  And wrote.

1000 entries.  Whew doggie!

You know what I'd really like?  I'd like for America to get itself together and let me off the hook.  I'd like for heads to be pulled out of rear-ends and brains engaged instead. I'd like to get off this puke-inducing ride.

Until then, I remain.

To all those who have popped in over the last few years, thanks for reading, commenting and generally showing up.  It's been nice to have the support and to know that a light shines in this darkness by way of like-minded friends.

Onward.

Congrats Patti! That's quite an achievement and few bloggers reach it.

Best wishes on 1,000 more! :)

Andrew: thanks, but bite your tongue on the 1000 more!

So, my almost-blasphemous question: will you continue your stand if the Romney administration ends up being nearly as bad?

I'm glad you can't throw a punch through the interwebs! :)

jake: barry has worn my ass out! but you know, i've actually thought about that question and the answer is yes. there are few things i love as much as my freedom. God being the first, my family and friends being second.

i can't imagine an administration as bad as this one, but the one thing this administration has taught me is to never say never. i would never blindly stand behind any group or person.

and i know better than to punch a marine. hell, you'd use your ninja skills on me before i even had time to cock that sucker!

I don't put much faith in anyone who goes to DC anymore, and I'm old enough now that nothing surprises me...

I told a friend tonight that if Obama is elected, the next prez will be GOP, and if Romney is elected, the next prez will be third party. Patience is wearing thin within the productive class.

if barry is elected, God help us as a country. but, you echo my thoughts on if romney is elected. i also think a third party pres is on the way.
