WELCOME TO PAUL RYAN WEEK!
I sleepily stumbled into my living room Saturday morning and turned on the TV to find Mitt thisclose to announcing Paul Ryan as his running mate.
I had read the rumors Friday that Ryan might be tapped, but refused to get my hopes up until I saw it with my own eyes.
Saturday morning, I saw it with my own eyes.
I. AM. RENEWED.
I went back into my bedroom and woke up my sleeping Husband to tell him the good news. I felt a deep relief that it wasn't Christie or Pawlenty or ~gasp~ Trump. It was Ryan.
That Mitt is listening to people, that Ryan denounced Obamacare so fiercely, that these two are running together (and um, Fruedian-slip when Mitt introduced Ryan as "...the next President..."?! Yes, please!) gives me such hope.
I am one happy gal today.
God Speed, mah babies.
