While this entry may seem to have nothing to do with politics, it has everything to to with Big Brother and my little slingshot attempt to stop him.
Have you heard of the former Google employees that now have their own little slice of the pie, called Disconnect? This is what they do/say:
Disconnect, Inc. is an
award-winning startup based in Menlo Park, California. We make
simple tools to help users understand and control the data they
share on the web. Our products, Disconnect and
Facebook Disconnect, are top-rated browser
extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari that stop tracking by
third parties and search engines.
Sidestepping Google's prying eyes?! Sounds great! Sign me up.
Go here if you are interested, install, then browse all you want with no pesky tracking.
Big Brother + Disconnect = SUCKA!
Free enterprise is alive and well for now, mah babies.

Patti: Excellent suggestion. But don't tell my son. He's a software engineer at Google. Fortunately, he does recognize reality, and I think he has disconnect set up on his own computers at home where he also runs an outside consulting business.
law: interesting. one more reason to like this company ;)
