This got people (justifiably) irate, a.k.a. "annoyed and offended" over the issue. I think they had to change the language to take out "annoy and offend" in the final bill because of the blowback. It would have been funny if it hadn't been so freakin' 1984!
AZ gets some things right (Sheriff Joe, immigration, guns, Gov. Brewer waggin' her finger at Dear Leader) but we got this one wrong, as well as another nanny state law banning texting while driving (umm...we already have driving while distracted laws. Do we really need laws to list all the possible distractions?) Grr.
tam: when i first read it i thought someone got it wrong, as in reported it wrong. after i realized they hadn't, i was thankful i wasn't in az cause i'd be the first to get the boot.
