Gotta Ask Yourself Why

Gotta Ask Yourself Why of the Day: Why are Libbies pooping themselves in public at the thought of Palin running against Barry?

Here's some wisdom I've gained through my years that I think applies:

1) Bullies HATE anything or anyone that takes the action from them.

2) Thieves HATE anything or anyone that disproves their share-your-wealth deceit and manipulation.

3) Thugs HATE anything or anyone that dares stand up to their fear tactics.

4) Hatas HATE anything or anyone that shines a light on their race-based hate mongering.

Leftists will tell you that Palin is stupid. That she's weak. Or polarizing. They will tell you she's a redneck. That she's so weak. Or she'll never get elected.

Really?

Then why the hubbub, bub?

If I think these things about someone about to run for president (coughcoughTRUMPcough), I let them run their course. I let their stupidity/flamboyance/gall nail them. What I don't do is get my biggest gun and go hunting for bear.

I thought about linking the most absurd We Hate Palin Because Blah stories I could find here, but figured you've already read/heard several before making it to my site.

So why are leftist's pooping themselves in the latest MSM stories about Palin?

Plain and simple: Those mofos are runnin' scared.

Palin is a powerful political shark and they can smell their own blood in the water.

Dundun...dundundundun...

Salute To Memorial Day

This is a partial from a post originally dated November11, 2009:

Story #3

Picture2

When 2nd Lt. Jim Cathey's body arrived at the Reno Airport, Marines climbed into the cargo hold of the plane and draped the flag over his casket as passengers watched the family gather on the tarmac. During the arrival of another Marine's casket last year at Denver International Airport, Major Steve Beck described the scene as one of the most powerful in the process: "See the people in the windows? They'll sit right there in the plane, watching those Marines. You gotta wonder what's going through their minds, knowing that they're on the plane that brought him home," he said. "They're going to remember being on that plane for the rest of their lives. They're going to remember bringing that Marine home. And they should."

Story #4

Picture3

The night before the burial of her husband's body, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of 'Cat,' and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. 'I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it,' she said. 'I think that's what he would have wanted.”

Originally post Memorial Day 2010:

For me, Memorial Day isn't just one day on the calendar; Memorial Day is every single day that I live as a free citizen of the United States of America.

Writing a political blog 5 days a week is part of the reason my mind is often on those who have given their lives for ours. Being at war, is also part of it; It's hard to escape the thought of our men and women serving and dying on foreign and domestic soil as we man the home front enjoying the freedoms they retain. Lastly, and at the forefront of every hour of every day, is our mostly inept elected officials (leaders, they are not). Barry and Crew continue to whittle away the freedoms bought with the blood of our brethren; instead of honoring their contribution, Washington mocks the meaning of their deaths. That they enjoy the freedom to do so, is an irony lost on few.

Even with the challenge of an inept Commander-in-Chief in the arena of war, of the very real possibility that they will endanger their lives, many still volunteer to serve today. They are modern day heroes. They are the face of freedom.

These fine men and women are the main reason I am grateful for those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice. It's their spirit of service that supports me when I grow weary with Washington, it's their spirit of perseverance that lifts me when it would be easier to quit, it's their spirit of faith that moves me forward ( SEMPER AVANTI!) when my own fades.

May we remember that our freedom does not come as a result of laying down arms in the face of dread, but by the might and bloodshed of those who value and understand freedom.

I salute you, Patriots past and present. Thank you isn't enough, but I offer it to you with my undying love and deepest gratitude every single day I am free. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

May God Bless you and keep you.

Friday Film!

Don't know how many of you saw this clip of Barry getting PWND by the Queen's orchestra, but I laugh every time I watch it.  It's like a gift, wrapped with a fancy British bow.

Take a peek:

Dude is soooo out of his element.

Other than the obvious laugh of him not having the sense, timing, or manners to let the music come to a stop before he proceeds, I love the fact that the English are so stoic when faced with an "Oh-No-He-Diin't" moment.  Rewatch just for the crowd pan.

Eyes Forward!  Stiff Upper Lips!  Be Calm And Carry On!  Jolly Good!

You can just hear Homer Simpson react, can't you?!

Or at the very least, the Queen thinking, "Shut-Up, you dolt." before she lifts her glass and belts it down.

Thanks Barry.  You're indeed a giver.

Remember This Name: Thaddeus McCotter

Mike Flynn, over at Big Government, has an interesting article that wonders if Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, of Michigan, is gonna announce his candidacy.

He showcases a video, previously played here, that deserves another look and listen.

Just when you think our government is filled with self-promoters who care little about our country, you watch someone with true leadership abilities, with clear vision, and you get drawn back into believing that there might be hope for us with the Allen West's and Thaddeus McCotter's working on our behalf.

I for one would welcome him into the ring.  What about you?

How Embarrassing For You....

Students Who "Support" Free Speech Want to Ban Conservatives From Radio & TV:

Dude says it best for all leftists when they are contradicted or challenged: I got no tolerance, man.

Peace and ineffective love-bombs, mah babies.  YOU WAS PWND!

Maybe it's time to start thinkin' and stop blindly followin' just because it sounds good.  I mean, since you support free speech and all...

In Support of Israel

First up: two delicious videos in support of Israel.

Video #1: Gene Simmons Slams Obama

"He has no f*cking idea what the world is like..."

Gene: Good on you for being balls-to-the-wall for Israel. Shame on you for voting for "an idea"...

Video #2: Wild Bill for America (hat tip: grumpy old man)

Who's Wild Bill?  His bio:

About Me:

I am a retired law enforcement officer and former Deputy U.S. Marshal with a strong faith in God and Country. I have traveled the world as a security and anti-terrorism specialist.

Go to his website: http://wildbillforamerica.com/ for more info.

And in case you missed it last week, the best video of all:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a badass among badasses.

He speaks with plain and unmistakable intention. He looks his adversary (Barry) in the eye while making his position unmistakably clear. You trust that the steely words coming out his mouth are his backbone of truth.

May God bless him, his leadership and the people of Israel.

Note To Barry: Do Your Job

Barry's yucking it up on the campaign trail, amusing himself as he tells folks, during a Texas stop, that Republicans might like a moat instead of proper border security.  Not everyone thinks he's clever.

President Obama: Stop the Jokes - Secure the Border

Better yet?  Pics from Barry's Texas visit that the MSM didn't have the balls to print: Border Residents Protest Obama

Hardworking taxpayers, regardless of skin-color or heritage, oppose illegals taking what isn't theirs.  Period.

Facts is facts, jack.  I personally love when Barry opens his mouth, reads the TOTUS and arrogant stupidity spews out, staining his possibilities for 2012.   No amount of pre-soaking's gonna get that out.

Onward, mah babies.

Barry Wants It All

If the story that broke last week about the National Labor Relations Board (part of Barry and Crew) intervening, and filing charges, against the Boeing Company's intent to open a plant in business-friendly South Carolina (a right-to-work state, meaning it has laws about compulsory union membership) left you shocked and horrified that a government agency could do such a thing, well, you ain't gonna like this either:

"Liberal Journalist Explains How Obama Could Decree Federal Control Over Private Corporations"

Give Obama 4 more years and he'll succeed.

Quick, someone tell M. Night Shyamalan I have an idea for his next bad horror flick.

Conservative White Folks = RACIST!

Racism is everywhere for conservative white-folks these days. Word.

Again, conservative white-folks (as opposed to "other" white-folks?!), who dare oppose a rapper praised for rapping about cop-killing, are RACISTS!

This particular rapper, invited to the WH by Michelle, interestingly opposes interracial relationships.

Yep, and we're the RACISTS!

Isn't it telling how the left just can't seem to help themselves with the charge of us disagreeing with someone based solely on their skin-color, instead of the truth?  Of course, the truth is we strongly disagree with what this rapper stands for, regardless the color of his skin.  Yet, leftists know it doesn't help their cause if we aren't actually racist.  They stoke the racism fires because truth is death for their cause.

~sigh~

Apparently, these jokers didn't read Monday's entry.

We're Smarter Than That

Conservatives are charged with RACISM! by the left as a go-to accusation, because it used to serve to silence us into submission. Not anymore. Conservatives can't make a valid point, even when we state simple facts, without being slapped with the label. As we have said here before, it's tiresome and we're done being silenced for something so blatantly untrue.

Newt, makes our point (note: me no likey newt as a candidate, but when you gots a point, you gots a point):

"...automatic reference to racism..."

The left needs a new play book if they're gonna win in 2012. The automatic reference to racism is now being called-out for what it is: sheer stupidity served with unchecked arrogance.

Call us a RACIST! all you want, but we, the majority of Americans, ain't buying your pitiful spin.

We're smarter than that.

Bin Laden's Death: Justice or Murder?

Today NAW welcomes guest writer Jacob H. Wilde.
Jacob is a friend of mine who also happens to be a badass Marine Corps Officer. The bonus is he's an insightful skilled writer (nary a poop joke or curse word to be found) who has yet to refuse my requests to reprint his essays at Not a Wonk.
I'm thankful that men and women like Jacob have made it their life to protect ours. I'm also a thankful he's a reader and friend.
Take it away, brother:

9 May 2011
The Death of Bin Laden: Murder or Justice?
Jacob H. Wilde

Just when we were all tired of hearing about the royal wedding, the US Navy SEALs saved us from a fate worse than death by giving us something else for the news to report on ad nauseum, when in the wee hours of the morning of 2 May, two dozen of our best special operators arranged a meeting between Osama Bin Laden and the Allah he believed he was serving for all of these years. While I’m not particularly tired of hearing that the world’s most dangerous terrorist is dead, I’m tired of the talking heads on TV beating the living tar out of this very, very dead horse, as though a single one of them has anything new or valuable to add to the narrative.

Soon after the President made the announcement two reactions were noted by the mainstream media: First, people were pretty stinking excited about the event, as evidenced by the congregation of large groups of people chanting and singing patriotic songs, waving American flags, and generally partying like it was 1999. Second, there were people who opted to look at things a little more deliberately, asking the difficult but necessary questions, like “was this even LEGAL?”

It’s easy to understand both of these reactions. America continued to live under the threat of another large-scale terrorist attack as long as Bin Laden drew breath, and had every reason to celebrate his extermination. But on the other hand, taking a life – even the life of a fanatical mass murderer – requires us to take pause and consider what it is we have done. Debates began almost immediately, questioning whether or not it was lawful for us to enter a foreign country without its permission and launch a covert direct action assault on a high value target, questioning whether we should have captured him alive rather than killing him outright, questioning whether it was respectful of Islamic practice to bury him at sea, and questioning whether or not it was legal for an American President to authorize the assassination of any individual, regardless of who it was. I think, however, that the most fundamental question is whether or not the killing was an act of justice or of murder.

There are many who believe that neither killing, nor violence of any kind, is justifiable. Their reasons for believing so are diverse; ranging from a particular interpretation of Christianity to a particular agnostic humanist code of ethics. In this debate and those like it for the last couple thousand years, the waters have become muddied – particularly in the context of a government of the people, by the people, for the people – regarding the necessary distinction between individual ethics and the ethics of the state. The prevalent issue, at least for the strictly pacifist Christians out there, is the application of the fundamentals of individual morality to a collective system of republican government, or simply to society as a whole. The concept of loving one’s neighbor as ones’ self, and turning the other cheek are well-known teachings of Christ. Throughout his ministry on Earth, Jesus taught that we should love God first and love our fellow humans only slightly less. He also taught that we should “give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s,” and never really attempted to challenge the civil government – indicating that perhaps God and the civil government had somewhat different roles to play in our individual lives.

According to our Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted among men to secure our collective God-given inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The preamble of the Constitution further describes the responsibilities of our government, to include the establishment of justice, and provision of the common defense. To apply the concept of individual forgiveness toward a civil government, telling a criminal or other enemy of the state to “go and sin no more,” is to invite anarchy and fail to uphold the rights of those who were wronged. People can forgive, but a system of civil government cannot do so if it wishes to retain objective authority and maintain the society it has a mandate to protect. As part of a civil society, we as individuals give up our right to claim “an eye for an eye” under the idea that the civil government will first attempt to prevent crimes against us, and then exact justice when we are wronged. While we as individuals do not have the moral authority to exact revenge, to claim that the civil government lacks the same authority to execute a violent criminal is sheer lunacy. If any “moral authority” can be attributed to a representative civil government, it is derived from the majority of citizens who establish, uphold, and obey the rule of law and who trust that the government will uphold its end of the bargain by providing them with justice and protection. While individuals are admonished to show mercy, the government is required to administer justice.

Throughout the 1990’s Osama Bin Laden and his Al Queda terrorist network planned and executed terrorist attacks on two US embassies, the World Trade Center, and the U.S.S. Cole, killing hundreds and wounding thousands. On September 11th, 2001, several small groups of hijackers executed an exquisitely and extensively planned attack by taking control of passenger jets loaded with fuel and passengers and flying them into predesignated targets, including the centers of our economic and military strength. In all, some 3,000 American citizens lost their lives and another 6,000 were injured on that day. For the past ten bloody years we have fought Bin Laden’s global terrorist organization, Al Queda; hunting he and his lieutenants every step of the way. While he and his organization did not represent any particular state, but rather a united fundamentalist pan-Islamic nation, he declared jihad against America and struck. The irony of his attacks is that during the 1980’s Osama Bin Laden and Al Queda were Afghan mujahedeen – the freedom fighters America supported in their opposition to Soviet occupation. Not only was Bin Laden a mass murderer, he was an ungrateful opportunist as well.

Because the government is mandated to provide justice for and protect its people, it had every right to meet Bin Laden and Al Queda in battle; not only to punish them for the previous attacks, but to ensure that they were incapable of ever conducting another. Osama Bin Laden was a warrior, a jihadist whose chief weapons were his mind and his ability to get others to do his bidding. At the moment US Navy SEALs kicked down his door and put several well-placed shots into his head, he was in full possession of those weapons. Killing him was not revenge, but justice. Vengeance is a human sentiment, and even a representative government can not be construed as human. To borrow the cliché; it wasn’t personal, it was business – the business of bringing justice to thousands of American families who had lost loved ones in the attacks, and the business of protecting our homeland from any further terrorist attacks by Al Queda. From the very beginning God established that “whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind” (Gen 9:6). I held no personal grudge against Bin Laden – no one I know was killed in the attacks – but he violated America’s sovereignty and our God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He orchestrated the attacks not on any one individual, but upon a nation whose government bears a sacred duty to provide justice and protection to its people. I don’t know what he hoped the result to be, but he couldn’t have expected that the United States could allow his attacks to go unpunished.

I suppose in the end that while it is a bit immoral to celebrate the taking of a life – even one as blood-soaked as Osama Bin Laden’s – it is perfectly acceptable to celebrate the triumph of justice and this noble experiment known as “America” over the tyranny of fear and hate. Let this be a message to all who wish to do us harm: while America bears you no ill will, your attacks will not go unmet, nor your violation of our sovereignty unpunished. In the words of Thomas Jefferson, we hold you as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends. At the end of the day, it’s not personal, it’s just business.

Chris *Tried* To Get A REAL Answer...

Oh, Chris Wallace.  You should have known that he would stutter his way around this...

Chris asks the question we all ask: Why is shooting an unarmed man, in the face, legal and proper, while enhanced interrogation, including water-boarding, of a detainee under very strict controls and limits, why is *that* over the line?

ANSWER US! (without the BS)

How Barry's crew say the things they say, with straight faces is beyond me.  I guarantee you if this guy's family was harmed or being held by terrorists, he would water-board detainees himself in order to get info.  That he says "it's not consistent with our values" is a cheap attempt to shame us into silence.

He thinks taking out an unarmed Osama with a bullet to the head = good.

He thinks water-boarding known terrorists = not consistent with our values.

It's beyond ludacrious.

I don't know about you, but I value my brothers and sisters (even the ones who disagree with me), and I'd like to keep them safe from those who wish to kill them.  If water-boarding attains that end, it's a go-to tool consistent with my values.

Juan Williams Calls Barry a Murderer

You can't have it both ways.  If you believe it was actually Barry who gets the credit for Bin Laden's bullet to the head, then.....

Whoa.  "...the murder of Osama Bin Laden..."

Of course this begs the question: Was Bin Laden murdered or was justice served?  Juan thinks Barry murdered him, for goodness sake, and he plays for the left.  Who would ever think I'd disagree?

I don't think Barry murdered anyone.  I don't think Special Services murdered anyone.  I think justice was served with a hot, full-bodied, mind-blowing bullet.

That so many on the left are clutching their pearls over the death of an evil madman, tells you where they stand on protecting their own.  The irony is while they state they can't abide such a heinous act, such vile behavior, they are now circling for Barry's blood.

MURDERER!

Gotta say, the show keeps getting better and better.  Now, pass the popcorn...

Allen West: You Know You Love Him

Allen West has a pair and he ain't afraid to use them.

Screw the left's "love bomb" notion of dealing with terrorists; I say we "Allen West bomb" the joint.

BOOM!

In the meantime, Pakistan thinks that the US bullet to Bin Laden's head is their "second biggest" national tragedy.

Anyone else think West has a point?

Friday Film: In Case You Missed It

The Laura Ingraham Show - Black Chamber of Commerce CEO blasts "Marxist," "brownshirt" Obama

Long audio, but worth the listen.

Entertaining + hammering Barry = WIN!

Although, as an aside, can you believe the heat any of us would take if we said the only reason we voted for a candidate was because they matched the color of our own skin? And if I take him at his word, which I do, then how incredibly stupid is that position? Holy crap, brother. It goes beyond ignorance and into the dumbass decision-making arena.

Glad to hear you've learned a valuable lesson, though.

Have a great weekend everyone.

RACIST!

Let's see. Trump questions Barry's academic credentials at Harvard (as we all wonder why they won't released the transcript) and the pundits deduce that he is a racist because Barry is black?

OK.

Then, if any non-white folks question Bush's academic credentials from Yale (based on a released, factual, transcript), we can logically deduce that they too are racists?

Hey, just following the left's playbook, flawed as it is.

This is exactly why the lunatic left's continuous accusations of RACIST! are yawn-provoking, overplayed, and frankly laughable. When all else fails for the left, they scream; RACIST! It's their poker tell for when they're losing an argument, and they seem to be losing a lot lately. Have you noticed?

The right can't breath without being accused of racism. Because, as the left knows, deep deep down in our glaring whiteness, we just can't help ourselves. It's as if we were bred to be racists. That we are incapable of anything but racism.

Sounds kinda racist in itself, doesn't it.

They are so incredibly constipated with their own filth that they can't fathom that it isn't Barry's blackness we take issue with, it's his policies. Period.

This skirmish isn't about race at all, this is about the man and his country-killing policies.

And gosh darn it, that's gotta suck for the left.

Texas Leading The Way

There is a bill working through the Texas legislature that would make it a felony if a TSA security officer intentionally touches a person's private parts, even if it happens on top of clothing, without probable cause to believe that person is carrying something illegal.

BOOM DIGGITY BOOM!

About damn time.

Please take the time to call your representatives in favor of this bill, even if you aren't in Texas.

If we're lucky, it will be the last time we see videos like this:

Tide Is Turning For Barry

During the news blitz of the Royal Wedding, I saw a small (at the time) article that got my attention. The crux of the story was the WH had banned a reporter, a known and respected pool reporter, a political reporter for the Chronicle, Carla Marinucci, for shooting a video of protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser and, here's her sin, for sharing said video.

Go HERE to read.

Mr. Facebook, Mr. Tweeter, Mr. I'm The King of Multi-Media, Mr. Transparency had a meltdown when he found out and banned Carla....forevers!

Oh, by the by, here's the vid:

When I read the initial story, my reaction was Oooooo, this is gonna be big. But, then the wedding pushed everything aside. Or so I thought....

First of all, let me say this: My initial reaction was in part because of who this reporter is and in part because of who she works for, The San Fransisco Chronicle, IE a lefty left leftster organization, and someone Barry took for granted he could poke. After all, those are Barry's peeps, and if Barry slaps his peeps down, in the past they have been duly chastised, and have promised never to sin again. Anything to protect their guy. But this time was different. Poor Bar had no idea he had gone one slap too far.

Once the story was out about Barry banning the reporter, the WH responded by saying they hadn't done any such thing, which promoted the Chronicle to do the unthinkable: they published an update that called the WH and it's main occupant a BIG. FAT. LIAR.

I seriously almost fainted from joy.

I felt the blood rush from my head, I felt my limbs get heavy, I felt the room spinning.

THE CHRONICLE?! Oh my. This does not bode well for Barry. At all. In any way. No matter how you hear the WH spin it. One of his own just gave him the finger.

And that, my dears, is the real story.

EDIT: I, like most of you, heard about Osama Bin Laden's bullet to the head last night. I awake this morning to the news that he is already buried according to Islamic law. No pic available. This makes me uneasy given my current government, even with the explanation given. This is in no way reflective on the troops, merely an observation.
