God Bless America

Marco Rubio shares an American truth that his mother shared with him:

As a child of a naturalized citizen, I can tell you my experience is that those who were not born American, but worked hard to become citizens, understand what it means to have freedom, possibly more than many natural-born Americans.  Doesn't matter what form that freedom takes, only that it is available for the taking.

(NOTE TO DEMS & RINOS: No one should be confused as to whether or not this means the American public is on-board with "free" citizenship to illegals via amnesty.  It doesn't.)

God Bless America.

Soros Wants You Under His Boot

Wanna know what's at the nasty root of what's wrong with the left? Sure ya do! It's why you come here.

Soros Group Plans Plots "Guerrilla War", "Sabotage" on Fox News

Instead of focusing on why their message doesn't resonate with regular everyday Americans (HINT: It reeks worse than if you combined raw sewage and rotten eggs, then topped it with a Vegas drunk's puke. and that's going easy on them.), the radical left sets its sites on destroying something that does resonate with regular everyday Americans.

It's the equivalent of the playground bully trying to take what isn't his, so he can have the pleasure of destroying it, so others can't have it either. In this case what isn't theirs is integrity, logic, ratings, truth and justice.

Sad really.

When is the RL gonna understand that we get who they are and we're in it to win it?

Obviously, they're gonna go down swinging. Which is fine by me.

Down and out is how I like my radical lefties.

Special Guest: Marine Officer Capt Jake Wilde USMC

You're in for a special treat today. I have the privilege of knowing a marine officer (and his lovely family) who writes about real-time military stuff we are dying to know. Real world stuff, not what the MSM would like us to believe stuff. Today, that officer has generously given me permission to reprint his latest missive from Japan.

Operation Tomodachi - From The Horse's Mouth

by Capt Jake Wilde USMC

I'm going to beg your pardon up front for this being such an impromputu entry, but I promise that I know more about what's going on here than Anderson Cooper, so it's still probably worth reading.

As some of you know, or have realized by now, I kind of disappeared on Tuesday. At about 2130 on Monday night, my boss knocked on my door and told me to be at the Futenma Air Station passenger terminal at 0700 for a flight to mainland Japan.

After landing at Yokota Air Force Base, just to the west of Tokyo, and some snafus getting checked in and to the job I was intended to do, I was put to work in the operations section of the Joint Support Force headquarters. Because "Tomodachi" is both a Joint and Bilateral operation, nearly everything that's going on is unclassified, which means I can pass on a significant portion of what I know to you - and working in the beehive of activity in the center of it all gives me access to quite a bit of information.

Operation Tomodachi, "Friendship" in Japanese, has three parts: Voluntary Assisted Departure for any American citizens and those of designated allies who wish to leave mainland Japan, Consequence Management for getting the failed reactors under control, and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief to help the people of Japan get their lives back together. Of these three, the Consequence Managment portion is the one that's getting the most attention from the Joint Staff. The HA/DR mission is actually winding down as recovery operations begin, and very few people have opted to get the heck outta Dodge.

I don't know what the news is reporting (actually, I noticed they aren't reporting much of anything on Japan since things in Libya got crazy), but the current estimates are of 10,000+ dead, and about 17,000 still missing, with over 200,000 homes destroyed. Unfortunately, these numbers don't really do justice to the true impact of this complex disaster. Because the Japanese consider family very important, extended families often live close together or even in the same homes. In some cases, multiple generations of entire families were washed away in the tsunami - gone from the face of the earth forever. Entire towns - and one military base - along Japan's east coast were completely wiped off the map. The Japanese Self Defense Forces (JSDF) were mobilized immediately to execute a well-planned and well-rehearsed recovery operation - in many cases, before they were even able to determine the status of their own families. Many began to suffer from PTSD soon after the recovery/relief operations began, but their response was quick, well organized, and effective. Contrary to Japanese Buddhist culture, the rescue teams were forced to bury thousands of bodies because they had neither the fuel nor the time to conduct proper cremations of the deceased.

During the recovery efforts assisted by the US military, some very notable events occurred. In the first, a USMC helicopter flight carried relief supplies to an area virtually inaccessible due to damaged roads. After unloading the pallets of water, food, and other relief supplies, the Japanese at the site told the Marines to take nearly half of the supplies on to the next town because those people didn't have any food either - despite the fact that they hadn't had sufficient food or water for several days and had no idea when the next shipment would arrive. In another instance, relief teams setting up a food distribution point worked without any interference at all, and even some assistance, from the cold, hungry, and emotionally strained people whom they were there to help. There was no mad scramble for food or water, not rioting, no mob. The people formed up neatly into lines, putting the elderly and young to the front of the line, and waited patiently for the first good meal they'd had in days. Stories like this have filtered up to the highest level of command and government here in Tokyo, and are both frequent and normal. The Japanese, while obviously devastated by the destruction and loss, have maintained a sense of civility and decorum that would be unthinkable anywhere else - contrasted entirely by our own Katrina disaster in New Orleans.

I've had the "pleasure" of working transportation for all of the general officers and other distinguished visitors, and so have been party to quite a bit of information at the highest levels of government and military on both the Japanese and American sides. My most frequent customer is one of the US Navy's top nuclear experts, and his observations have been both refreshing and gratifying. Recently, the Japanese have gotten power to the failed reactors and begun pumping fresh water into the cooling systems. Other fresh water pumping systems, provided by the US and Australia, are being brought into place as auxilliaries and the prognosis is excellent.

I tell you these things because I can, and because I'm seeing them firsthand. Despite the frustrations I've had to deal with each day as the flag officers change their schedules and add meetings at the Ministry of Defense, Cabinet Building, and US Embassy, I have little to complain about. Even as I'm putting in a 12+hour workday, I have a roof over my head (shared with 9 others of various services and ranks), food in my belly, and electricity and WiFi. Life is, in fact, good. Please keep the nation of Japan and its people in your prayers as they continue to get back on their feet and begin the recovery effort in earnest.

One last funny bit to leave you with a smile on your face: When the tsunami crashed over the shoreline, it slammed into several vehicle-staging lots at major ports where cars were waiting for export or that were recently imported, tossing the vehicles around like so many toys. US military heavy equipment operators have had a great time tossing around brand new Infinity, Lexus, Mercedes, and other luxury cars as they cleared out the ports for use in relief efforts. You know that made some PFC's day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
POW!
Jake, on behalf all of my readers, thank you for taking the time to document what you are living, seeing and doing, but most of all thank you for your service. We will not only pray for those of Japan, but for all of those on the ground offering assistance.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you guys freakin' rock.
Be safe out there.
NCAA Fans Are Safe. Maybe.
File under: I'm Sick of This Crap
Big Sis Urges Citizen Spying At NCAA Tourney
Here's what I know: I recently went to a Spurs basketball game and had big dollar tickets on the la-dee-da floor area (they were a gift).  These lucky-duck folks enter through a separate door, a special VIP door, and are treated very differently than the regular Joe-Blow Public.  The dude in front of me was carrying a knife that he used for work, and he alerted the gate-keepers to this fact and wondered if he should get out of line and take it to his vehicle.  They took one look at the knife (and it was a respectable blade; it could cut a mofo) and cleared him through with no discussion.
Enjoy the game, sir!
WHAT?!
Had he been in the regular line, I fear he would have been tackled and arrested, maybe even probed.
My point is that security is a joke.  Wand me all you want, look through my bag all you want, but when you're letting in some dudes with blades (NOTE: this dude was harmless and obviously conscientious), but not  low-cost seats Abuelas (grannies) with small plastic Swiss Army Knife wannabes, it's really about the image of security and not actual security.  It's class-related security.
Gosh, I feel safer already.
Now don't forget, you basketball fans, if you see something, say something.  Cause that will keep us safe, dontcha know.  Or not.  Whatev.
Big Sis, FAIL!
A Degree Does Not Equal An Education
Fox News = the same as Radical Islamic Terrorists?!
Wow.
The DOJ stats frame this picture:  "More than 80 percent of all convictions tied to international terrorist groups and homegrown terrorism since 9/11 involve defendants driven by a radical Islamist agenda."
Think hugs are gonna cure that, Missy?!  Think love is gonna overpower those that have a deep burning hatred for you, and pray, that's right they be praying, to see you die a painful death?
What does it mean?  It's proof positive that libbie indoctrination within the university environment is thriving.
(keep watching until the end for the NPR stuffs!)
Defunding NPR
(program note: i will be out of touch until possibly tuesday.  new entries will be posted, so comment away, but momma won't be here to respond.  ~waaaaaa~  p.s. barry has not kidnapped me)
In response to this: Vote to defund NPR survives first test vote
Sure, sure, it's procedural and all, but it gives an indication how the lines are being drawn.
We have this: Dem says defund Fox News
Did I miss something? Did Barry and Crew take ownership of Fox?! No? Ahhh, just another libbie pooping himself.
Palin has a great point that is worth repeating: If your cause is worthy, IE worth fighting for because you BELIEVE in it, you don't run away no matter what you are up against.  You stay and FIGHT.
The difference between a libbie and a conservative is roots. Where libs flee, conservatives stick.
We BELIEVE in our fight. We ain't going nowhere.
Douche of the Day
Douche of the Day: Chris Mathews
Here's how Chris Mathew's brain works: Japanese earthquake + subsequent devastating tsunami + Hawaii possibly getting hit by said tsunami = Barry should "stick-it to" (those who question where the man was born) folks by invoking his origin of citizenship.
While the rest of us focused on Japan's people and turning to prayer for their needs, Chris said Barry's Hawaiian-based citizenship was "the first thing" he thought about.
Friday Film Fun!
BREAKING NEWS: Barry talks about "tightening the noose" on Gadhafi
You would think a black man would have a bit more sensitivity. But, eh. That's how the dude rolls, er, tightens.
In other news conference news, he totally contradicted himself on energy and ignored actual facts about what is happening in the world as he refused to deviate from his scripted shtick that he wishes you would just accept as truth. Several times I actually choked from laughing. HE's a sad man, folks. No getting around that.
Come on 2012.
Badass of the Day...Again!
To have a Badass of the Day post twice in one week, well that calls for drinks and snacks. Enjoy!
Badass of the Day: Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y (Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee)
King is coming for CAIR. He's all about investigating the threat posed by Islamic radicalization, regardless of who opposes him, including radical Muslims and radical Muslim groups.
~coughterroristscoughcough~
King notes that CAIR is the "unindicted co-conspirator" in terrorist funding and CAIR is calling RACIST!
Snore.....
King is balls-to-the-wall when it comes to rooting out terroristic trolls, and he don't give a flying F if anyone disagrees.
I like that in a Homeland Security Committee Chairman.
King is bringing the bad to badass; he's the real deal, mah babies, and I support him 100%.
Maybe we should collectively drop him an encouraging word. Wouldn't that be swell?
Pissin' Me Off Fat-Tuesday
Let's just jump right in, shall we?
#1:
Where is the MSM's "gas is too high; let's pin the blame of the president" indignation they had under Bush?!
#2: My Mea Culpa on Chris "fooled me once, but not twice" Christie:
I was wrong. Christie is a mofo'ing RINO. There is no way this dude is a conservative. And, as usual, Andrew over at Commentarama, did the heavy lifting that I should have done. Seriously. No one is more sorry than me. I totally dropped the ball. I bought into the smoke and mirrors and forgot to look past it to the truth.
Andrew put together a fine post, easy to read with bullet points, that chips away at Christie's false conservative image. Go HERE and check it out.
His latest nail in his conservative coffin, is lashing out at the "uninspired" GOP field (he has a point to a degree), which includes a very conservative Palin (who is the real dealio).
Watchy Palin's great and spot-on response:
Fiscal courage is a hallmark of conservatives, but backed into the making-cuts-corner because you're broke, not so much.
Christie is NOT a conservative no matter the words coming out of his mouth, and now just serves to piss me off when he thinks you're too stupid (or lazy in my case....MEA CULPA!) to see the truth.
#3: Mitt Romney's bullshit
Mitt thinks he's the guy we (he GOP) want on the ticket. He's making his case for it every where he goes and I am sick of listening to him tell me that I want him.
Hey, Mitt: F-OFF!
Sorry. This kinds can only be shook off with shock and awe-no-she-di'int!
Why am I so foul-mouthed over this? Why the passion?
Read this, from Mitt's mouth: "It's going to take more than new rhetoric to put Americans back to work — it's going to take a new president,"
Mitt. Pay attention. Don't take what you think are hard working American's talking points and try to make it sound like it's something we want.
We don't want your "new rhetoric"...we don't want anyone's rhetoric...we want a conservative with a plan...more to the point, we want a conservative that will enact WE, THE PEOPLE'S plan (a few points follow):
* smaller government
* less spending
* lower taxes
* government accountability
* repeal the stinkin' pile known as Obamacare
And what of the new the new rhetoric? You can shove it back up the hole it crawled out of.
#4: Union Protester lets it slip what they're after (hint: thievery goes green!)
And he said it with a straight face.
~trying to unball fist o'fury~
#5: Michael Moore.
Just the mention of his name gives me a physical blech and fuels my need to punch something soft and white (RACIST!).
#6: Over 1000 Obamacare Waivers Given
Did you get yours? No? Huh....me neither. Until the law of the land means everyone is subjected to the same laws, unrest will grow. Are you listening Washington?
I could go on and on and on (and on and on and.....), but I'm gonna stop here before my head (or yours) explodes.
What's pissin' you off today?
Remember The Alamo
In Texas, we could never forget. On this day, the Mexican Army overtook the Texian soldiers and captured the Alamo. Santa Anna, the brutal Mexican general, had no idea he had just fueled the fury of a new nation. He met his match in just over a month, when the Texians had their momentous victory at the Battle of San Jacinto, thus ending the Texas Revolution.
"Remember the Alamo!"
Done.
Is Your Heart and Mind Open To Be Sharia'd?!
Today's the day, mah babies. Today, one, sick, miserable, evil, SOB, British extremist Anjem Choudary, is calling for "the flag of Islam to cover the White House."
His spin on oppression: "I think the American people’s hearts and minds are open to receive Islam as an alternative way of life. We expect thousands to come out and support us."
Pop over HERE to refresh your memory. I'll wait....
Back?
Helmets on, because there's more.
Got that strap nice and tight? Are you sure?! 'Cause we don't need you to suffer a concussion when you go running with blind rage into a wall.
There is a website, called Sharia 4 America, that details plans to drape the Statue of Liberty with a GIANORMOUS burkha before destroying it. The best part of the plan?
"Post demolition, it is recommended that a minaret be built as a fitting replacement, allowing the glorification of God to be proclaimed daily as well as act as a powerful reminder of the superiority of Islam over all other ways of life."
I shit you not.
Go HERE (hat tip: weasel zippers!) to look at the detailed plans.
I know there will be folks who roll their eyes at the very thought of this plan being executed, so I would ask them, what would your reaction have been if you were told, in advance, that terrorists would fly not one, but two, jetliners into the Twin Towers, hitting their marks so efficiently as to bring the Towers down? Not to mention the Pentagon attack or the plane that was driven into a field in Pennsylvania...on the same day.
Bet you would have rolled your eyes at that too. I would have. Difference is, I learned something that day. I learned these folks will stop at nothing to oppress and kill us. Period.
We are at war. And our enemy gleefully shows their hand, their intention, at every turn.
Shame on us if we continue to ignore them, or worse, underestimate them.
EDIT: Pro-Sharia Demonstration in D.C. "postponed" citing security concerns.
POW!
No doubt he'll try again.
Ever vigilant...
Libbies Can't Handle The Truth
Tea Bagger Wanna-be of the Day  (hint: IT'S A LIBBIE!)
I love how the left embraces the image of tolerance, yet has no problem stooping to threatening to "tea-bag" (urban dictionary, look it up) a 17-year-old young man handing out copies of the Constitution.
You would never see such vile behavior from a Tea Party member. Those folks are actually tolerant and have yet to be filmed threatening anyone. Yet, the left's "tolerance" is all over the Internet these days, and it's anything but tolerant.
Union thugs: Truth and justice are coming for you, mah babies. And they're bringing their cameras!
POW!
