Pull The Plug on Afghanistan

Over the weekend, Afghan President Hamid Karzaimade advised that if there is ever war between Pakistan and the United States, Afghanistan would fight alongside Pakistan.

Could he give us a bigger middle finger?  Could he be any more brazen in accepting our help now, to then cut us off at the knees if given the chance?  Could he be any more plain spoken to a nation (that would be us) that is shedding the blood of their brothers and sisters to help them now?

I say cut their balls off now.  And swiftly.  Without diplomacy.  But, that's just me.

The article did go on to say that such an event would be unlikely, that the US and Islamabad are working to avoid such things, but unlikely as the event might seem now, Afghanistan's alliance is already solidly in Pakistan's camp.  If we ignore what is being said in such easy to understand words, then shame on us.

The interview, and Karzi's stark revelation was shown on a private Pakistani TV channel, and the interview was not dated, both facts that don't make a difference to me.

It's time to pull the plug on Afghansitan.  Not only military aid, but all aid.  Shut them down before they have an opportunity to do us any harm. I don't want one more drop of American blood shed for this man or his country.

You can't have it both ways, Afghanistan.
