UK Reforming Healthcare?

On the heels of the talk of repealing Obamacare, we get this headline: UK government plans major health care reform.

Ruh-roh, could it be that the "free" healthcare scam is sinking the UK?!

Analysis from the critics: if the UK goes forward with this reform, it could lead to "back door privatization" with family practitioners making health decisions instead of bureaucrats.

The horror.

It would also "...allow private companies, charities and social enterprises to bid for contracts within the public health service."

Blatant evildoers.

How dare they try to make a system of healthcare work. HOW. DARE. THEY!

Critics are warning of chaos. They insist that "limited resources" would make healthcare about cost and not quality (laughable in itself), while using words like "disastrous" and "extremely risky" to make their case.

Let's see if the Brits buy this transparent fear-mongering show and dance, or if they've come to their senses like the majority of Americans have.

Wow! Nice catch Patti! What's interesting is that before the election, they all agreed that no one would touch their health care system. But since then, there have been a never ending list of horror stories about the lousy quality of care they get.

I hope Americans pay attention to this, because this is what happens when the government takes over the health care industry! And if even the British now admit they have problems, then reality has caught up fast with the left's fantasy of free, perfect, cheap health care.

andrew: exactly. when those dealing with the horror of "free" healthcare now tell us that is doesn't work, we would be smart to pay attention. i loved this story.

So true!

Patti, I just got to your comment about being blocked on Facebook, check out my article this afternoon, it's a (non-paranoid. . . I swear!) little rant on something very related! Your experience fits perfectly with it!

Patti, What that tells you is that you've had an effect. You've shaken their comfortable little world so badly that they want you gone because they can't handle the reality you present! Kick ass my friend! :-)
