Sunday Morning Fox News gave me a swoon when it asked Rep-Elect Allen West to be a guest...
This was like the perfect ending to a wonderful holiday season, and the opening shot for a new day.
I swear, if he doesn't live up to my hype (let alone the hype of others who love this dude), I'm gonna have to drank my sorrows away because Westie (listen, if you are on momma's good side, you get a sweet nickname) seems like the real deal; I'm pretty good at sniffing out the real deal. But, if he gets to Washington and decides to screw me (and you) over, I'm gonna be one sad conservative.
It would be so awful it might force me to drank and blog.

I heart Alan West. Not much more to say.
My dad was good friends with the late father of Daniel Fessenden, a former NY state assemblyman. When Dan was campaigning for the office, my dad told him, "Danny, if you're not a crook when you take office, you will be by the time you leave it."
Here's hoping that Congressman West continues to walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
