Don't you love when a staffer tells us, The American People, tries to spin what ain't gonna sit right with us, after we, The American People, gave a resounding cry to REPEAL OBAMACARE! in November?!

She falls into the category of "journalists" who reported that the November '10 mid-term elections were gonna fall heavily on the dem's side and that the Tea Party folks are racists, liars and manipulators. She falls into the category of folks who were duped by Barry and all his hopey change, yet now refuse to see the truth of what is happening. She falls into the category of making the rest of us weary from her tired and obvious attempts at manipulation.

Sending the bill to Barry is one thing, but do they have enough to override the expected veto? Rep. Fred Upton has been quoted as saying that leadership would not "be that far off" from the two-thirds of the BOOM! lowering they would need.

There are some things happening that I will believe when I see, but boy oh boy are we off to an auspicious start. Very exciting. The more and louder the left squeals, the better and more hopeful I feel. Just the suggestion that there might maybe possibly be enough support for the repeal to override a veto is deeelish.

That is the funny thing...they keep saying that the Tea Party is the far-right fringe and this start to the new congress is just appeasing that fringe when in reality, people who affiliate themselves with the Tea Party or with whom the Tea Party resonates are the clear and vast MIDDLE majority.

Patti, This tells us everything we need to know about the value of ABC News doesn't it?
As for ObamaCare, the democrats are making a huge mistake. They are trying to defend it by defending a couple of parts that people like -- like fixing this "donut hole." That leaves the door open for the Republicans to repeal all the other parts, if they're smart! Let's hope!

I'll tell you Patti, I'm actually very enthusiastic about the next couple of years. The Democrats seem to be lost in the land of the angry and the Republicans seem to be making a ton of the right moves suddenly. It feels like we've finally got a very competent team that knows what they want and how to get it. I hope I'm right on this, but as you say: "Man, 2011 could be a very good year!"
