Whether or not you loved him or hated him, Bush was able to articulate his laser focus on protecting the homeland, while routing evildoers, as he helped a country chase their own dream of freedom from tyranny. And all without the need for a teleprompter. (hat tip: big journalism)
His passion for our country, for freedom, for kicking ass when ass needed to be kicked is admirable.
Juxtapose Bush's balls-of-steel with Barry's limp capitulation and his need to "talk" or "reason" with known terrorists and you begin to understand why so many Americans miss Bush now.
Lord help us.

You don't need a teleprompter when you are saying things you actually believe. You only need a teleprompter when you need a team of advisors to tell you what you believe. . . like someone I know in Washington right now.
andrew: exactly my point! you can't fake passion.
Even more, you can't fake your way through beliefs you don't hold... just ask Barry Obama.
