Trump Makes Offer on Building at Center of Controversy at Ground Zero.
Nothing like stepping into the fiery frying pan, eh Donald?! You gotta wonder what's in it for him. He's no dummy. He's made his living, lost his living, and remade his living on real estate. There's gotta be a hook.
He does say that his offer is contingent on the Mosque being built at least 5 blocks from Ground Zero.
Stay tuned.
My gut is telling me there's more to come. Trump usually doesn't go quietly.

He calls the voice of those who disagree the "radical discourse which has just hijacked..." (2:08ish on video) . He goes on to school us on the separation of church and state, while never acknowledging that while he has the right to build, it is NOT the right thing to do. "When we politicize religion it is dangerous." This is news?!
At around 4:30 in the video, instead of answering the question of SHOULD the mosque be built, he threatens Americans with this: "If we move from that location, the story will be the radicals have taken over the discourse," ..."The headlines in the Muslim world will be that Islam is under attack."
Um, says you and your spin.
He discusses our military and the threat they will be under, from Muslim radicals, if the mosque is moved. AS IF THEY AREN'T UNDER THAT VERY THREAT NOW. He says he's concerned for American citizens who live and work and travel overseas. Well, I'm concerned for these folks now as well. What's the difference? Radicals are radicals; they do not change their stripes. No matter how many times the niave bend over to meet them, they will have a new demand. Hence, the label RADICALS.
Sheesh.
His most obvious threat against Americans is this statement: "Our national security now hinges on how we negotiate this, how we speak about it."
I don't care how calmly he speaks, how he smiles demurely, how he assures with his meaningless reassurances, let me say this plainly: Screw you and your threats, Imam. This is America. We WILL NOT be cowed by radicals.
Period. The End.
This heated, emotional, RADICAL, discourse can be solved simply by the Imam relocating in the name of tolerance and understanding for those who lost a loved one at Ground Zero on 9-11, in the name of all that is holy and in the name of LOVE FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR, as he likes to remind/chastise Christians to what they are called.
Do not tell us what we should believe or how we should feel based on a religion that isn't your own, sir. You may have the luxury of intimidating your own flock, but brother, you don't have it with us. You'd do well to remember that.

Regarding this idiot with the mosque, I think it's funny that 60+% of the American people are considered radicals. But we should thank him, because he's done a lot of harm to the Democrats just before the election!
