LOLZ of the Day

Always Gives Me a LOL of the Day: Iran's president smacking around Barry

The quote getting the most press is this one: "Mr. Obama, you are a newcomer (to politics). Wait until your sweat dries and get some experience."

Funny enough that At-mah-dinnah-job (phonetcially spelled for your convenience) is calling Barry a NEWB! but the quote that gave me a bigger LOL was the following one.

Ahmadinejad said Obama "is under the pressure of capitalists and the Zionists" and vowed Iran would not be pushed around. "(American officials) bigger than you, more bullying than you, couldn't do a damn thing, let alone you," he said, addressing Obama.

Oh no he di'n't! He just compared Barry to Bush and it was very uncomplimentary. Damn, that has to leave a mark!

And the LOLs keep coming: Barry's peeps want their free health care dadgumit. According to an article that quotes an eHealthInsurance.com agent, the question of the day is:

"They're saying, 'Where do we get the free Obama care, and how do I sign up for that?'

Who else just chuckled, giggled, snorted, curled their lip, shook their head in disgust? Gives me a giant BLECH.

The best overjoyed LOL I had yesterday was when the FCC was given an EPIC! punch to the head with this bit of news:

Because the FCC "has failed to tie its assertion" of regulatory authority to an actual law enacted by Congress, the agency does not have the power to regulate an Internet provider's network management practices, wrote Judge David Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Tuesday's decision could doom one of the signature initiatives of FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, a Democrat. Last October, Genachowski announced plans to begin drafting a formal set of Net neutrality rules--even though Congress has not given the agency permission to do so. That push is opposed by Verizon and other broadband providers.

The FCC acted without authority. SMACK! The FCC exerted power where they had none. POUND! The FCC, IE Genachowski via BARRY, believed they could do whatever the hell they wanted regardless of those pesky non-existent laws awarding power to the throne. BLAM!

If you want to read a short article that lays it out, go HERE. Better yet, HERE.

When I heard the news I pictured Barry and Crew having a bratty meltdown in the Oval Office. Certainly it's not the last we'll hear of this, but for the moment this WIN! is delicious.

Last LOL of the day is Barry throwing like a barry (please do NOT say he throws like a girl, i'm a girl and I can get it over the plate and if I practiced it would be strike-worthy. no brag, just fact, mah babies. i hereby coin the term "throws like a barry" and in the future, when one uses this term, everyone will understand the pitch SUCKED). That he also humiliates himself with his lies is the bonus lol. Emperor has no truth!

Dude, throws like a barry. Ugh.

I would argue that the FCC ruling is not as simplistic as you make it seem. What happened in the courts was on the right side of the law (which I like), but ultimately held up crappy laws (which I don't like).

It's a very convoluted matter because everyone seems to have their own metric for Net Neutrality, but ultimately what the FCC was trying to do (prevent ISPs from favoring content from preferred clients) is a necessary measure to insure freedom on the net.

lt. dan: i think you just simplified this matter to the left's liking. you are right about it being convoluted, but do you seriously think the government, THIS government, is about freedom?! go HERE:http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_040610/content/01125107.guest.html

short and simple enough.

I love the fact that Iran is poking fun at Obama. That must truly burn his britches!

Thanks for the link. I think the FCC ruling is a good one and hopefully, this will slow any attempts by the Democrats to take over the internet.
