Hey Washington: Got jobs? Yeah you do....for now.
Many activists are wondering how to fight the final battle against Obamacare 2.0. Now that the president has made it clear he wants to jam a bad bill down our throats through "reconciliation" we must renew our efforts to stop this from happening.Oh Ahhhhhnold, so much for your twinkle and disappear theory about the Tea Party, eh?! Unlike Washington politicians, the folks that comprise the Tea Party movement are seriously focused and organized against stupidity and greed. They have a plan of attack that gives me the shivers of anticipation. You know if they say it, they will do it. You can take it to the failing banks! Bet the struggling farms on it! Count On It! As the children say: It's on like Donkey Kong!
There may be hope, though. To get another, more hopeful, perspective on reconciliation, visit my friends over at Commentarama. Andrew wrote a short, easy to understand, entry on the subject. Go HERE.
Enough reading, we have a film! Get the lights. Heads off the desk. PAY ATTENTION (for 2:42 minutes).
It may come down to the man who said this about his job: “It’s easy being vice president — you don’t have to do anything.”
Me-oh-my-oh.
On the flip side, there's much talk about not having enough House Democrat votes even for reconciliation based on their opposition to the abortion issue. To gain the votes of the fence-sitters, or maybe more appropriately the what's-in-it-for-me Dems, or the I-needs-to-get-mine-if-I'm-gonna-lose-my-job lemmings, Barry is pulling out all the stops. Screw Louisiana Purchase type handouts, that's so last last few months ago, Barry has a new trick up his dirty sleeve and it's called selling judgeship for health care votes!
Just when you thought he couldn't limbo any lower, he clears the bar.
Despicable.
Today, Barry is pleading with Dems: The president urges uneasy rank-and-file moderates and progressives to focus on the positives rather than their deep disappointment with parts of his massive health care overhaul.
Kinda like saying that the neighborhood crack house isn't all bad. Focus on the jobs it's generating, the people it's feeding and the economy it's stimulating. Stop focusing on the deep disappointment that this house is endangering the rest of the block. STOP IT!
The most laughable part of this article:
It's the opportunity of a generation, he told them -- and a chance to revive the party's agenda after his rough first year in office.
Deluded much?! What I want to know is if any of them bought it. It will give them momentum? An opportunity? A chance to revive the party?!
Obviously they haven't seen this: State Polls Shows Gathering Storm
Or this: Sixty percent (60%) of voters believe Democrats should change the bill to win support from a reasonable number of GOP’s. This finding is similar to the those found in October and August of last year. Only 31% believe Democrats should go ahead and pass the bill without Republican support. That leaves possibly 69% of DEMOCRATS wanting Republican support on this bill. I translate that to fear for the Democratic Party if leadership disregards even their own party and rams it through. Huge, I tell ya.
No doubt, the good fight is on. The question isn't whether or not Barry and Crew will do this to us; the question is will America tolerate an epic, arrogant, disregard for the people's will?
The irony in all this is that the much-aligned-by-the-left Tea Party folks, with their loud voices, organized base and insistent activism, may save the Democrats behind by forcing them to heed the will of the people, to vote against this destructive legislation, thereby allowing their party to regroup, maybe to start listening and learning from their very own constituents. ~coughcough69%cough~
That would be reconciliation we could all support.

Thanks for the link Patti! This is a bizare issue and I'm stunned they're still trying it, but this group doesn't seem to care what the public thinks. I hope the public takes it out on them in a big bad way in November.
As it is, I almost hate turning on the news each day because every day seems to bring another story of these jokers trying something new.
November can't come soon enough.
andrew: i feel the same way. what the hell will they try next is always on my mind.
They need a new motto. If at first you don't succeed, give up. I still don't think they can pull this off, but there is talk of presenting two bills to the President, which I discussed awhile back. It's arcane, it's never been tried, but it could work. More likely they'll try vote-a-rama and hope they can wear the Republicans out.
law: it's all insane. and they could conceivably wear the repubs down, but never the people. and it's the people they need to be concerned about. folks are so angry now, can you imagine the revolt if they attempt and succeed at this nonsense?
These people are unbelievable. With all this going on, I heard today that they are working on an amnesty program. They want to push it through so they will have more votes (from the former illegals) come election time. Sorry Bastards.
grumpy: man, where did you learn such cynicism?!
