Michael Moore, Jeb Bush, The German, Watermelons and Barry

For once, I agree with Michael I'm A Capitalist For Reals Moore.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on Sunday railed on Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, predicting, "Democrats on Election Day 2010 are going to get an ass-whoopin' of biblical proportions if things don't change right now."

That's the highlight of the article, the rest is laughable, including Moore proposal that he should replace Rahm and live in the WH basement (what?! not in a van down by the river?!).

Come on ass-whoopin'.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And so it begins that Jeb Bush's name gets thrown into the ring.
Jim DeMint on Jeb for Pres.: "He would be a great president. He'd probably be the best on the list, if he didn't have the Bush name. It may not work in 2012, although the longer Obama is in office the better the Bush name looks. Maybe not in 2012 - you know, maybe I shouldn't say that. Jeb Bush has been very bold, and principled, and you never know. If he is interested, I'd sure be interested in talking to him."
That didn't take too long. Wonder if Jeb's camp, IE Jeb, is sending up trial balloons. I'd take him, hell I'd take The German at this point. You know Barry is sucking the life out of the country when I throw my own, strict, no-nonsense, make-your-brother's-bed-or-you're grounded (for the record, i was grounded. MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN BED!), mother into the political mix.
The German in 2012!
Dan Rather opens his trap and this springs out:
And a version of, "Listen he's a nice person, he's very articulate" this is what's been used against him, "but he couldn't sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic."
Emphasis, theirs.
Mmmmm, watermelons.
RACIST!
Close your eyes and imagine any Republican, any Fox News host, any conservative radio host, any Tea Party member, anyone other than a lefty on a national cable show (i am being generous to say national because we all know chris mathews and his rating's are in the pooper). Who doesn't see the shit-storm that would bear down upon the land and condemn the entire right?! Double standard much?
Wanna see it on film?! Sure you do. Witness:
Yikes.
If the current trends continue?! IF?! Oh Jay, you have our permission to count on it.
If the current trends in public opinion continue, they will lose that majority because of President Obama's divisiveness. We have seen hints of things to come with GOP victories in Virginia, New Jersey, and most recently Massachusetts - as the difference-making voters for the Democrats in 2006 and 2008 turned to the Grand Old Party.
Either Mr. Obama and his advisors are blind to this, or they don't care, or both. I think it's both; call it willful blindness, a self-serving belief that 2008 was indeed a liberal realignment, and that the numbers will eventually reflect it. Regardless, House Democrats should know that the voters who have made them a majority party in recent cycles strongly oppose this health care bill; they have turned against President Obama; and they will eventually turn against them if they go along with the President. Moderates from the South and Midwest will be the first to go down to defeat as the party shrinks from a majority to a minority.
Willful blindness is as good a term as any, but I think Barry's will goes deeper than that. It is self-serving to be sure, but he isn't blind, willfully or otherwise. He has shown us over and over again that he knows exactly what he's doing; he's out to remake America in his image based on righting the wrongs that he learned at the feet of his extremist pastor/mentor (jeremiah wright) and terrorist bomb-lobbing chums (bill ayers).
It's up to the voters to put a stop to it.
Which brings us full circle to Michael Moore's prediction of an ass-whoopin' of biblical proportions.
Me likey.
