Today, the weather forecast here calls for: Snow...light sleet and rain. Less than 1 inch of snow accumulation. While it seems ridiculous to even mention our piddly possibilities when places like Moscow and Dallas, Texas are experiencing record snowfalls, its notable because it hasn't snowed here, really snowed, in almost 23 years. That's right, 23 years.
Darn Global Warming (I will always call it by it's original moniker. it was good enough for the wannbe thugs to call it that before the debunking, so i say let them live or die by the name). Oh, Al. When you go, you go BIG.
So what of Al? Where is the big guy hiding? What is he doing this winter? What does he think about this colossal winter dump of snow, sleet and misery?!
Those are the questions of the season, aren't they?
And we're not the only ones asking. Enter Inhofe's push-back.
Badass of the Day: Senator James Inhofe.
Sen. Inhofe is not only formally asking, but demanding answers. Bravo, James.
Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) today asked the Obama administration to investigate what he called “the greatest scientific scandal of our generation” — the actions of climate scientists revealed by the Climategate Files, and the subsequent admissions by the editors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4). Ohhhhh, I would pay to see Gore having to answer to Inhofe. Like a heavy-weight fight on Showtime. Break out the cigars and Fritos!
In this corner....
DING DING!
Inhofe could take Gore down in a glorious knock-out if he asked Al to PROVE any of his claims. Give us PROOF, backed by FACTS.
...Senator Inhofe will be calling for an investigation into potential research misconduct and possible criminal acts by the researchers involved. At the same time, Inhofe will ask the Environmental Protection Agency to reopen its consideration of an Endangerment Finding for carbon dioxide as a pollutant under the Federal Clean Air Act, and will ask Congress to withdraw funding for further consideration of carbon dioxide as a pollutant.
We aren't naive though, are we? Barry has your money at stake here. And a thief and your money are not easily parted.
The question, of course, is whether the Senate Democratic majority will allow this investigation to proceed, in the face of the Obama administration’s stated intention to regulate CO2 following the apparent death of cap and trade legislation. The Democratic majority has blocked previous attempts by Inhofe to investigate issues with climate science.
That Inhofe is calling for an investigation, that he is playing by the rules, that he is putting the heat on the fallacy of Global Warming makes me want to bake him a cake. Instead, I'll call his office and tell him instead. Don't want to look like a crazy.
Al has that job all wrapped up.

The collapse of the global warming scam has been incredible. What even funnier has been Algore's silence. . . except to keep making false claims every so often. With industry groups abandoning his coalition and China and India (and others) now basically saying they'll never trust the UN again, I think Algore's dreams of conquest are over.
Patti: Imhofe is doing a great job keeping the heat on the global-warming generated snowstorms. I hope he doesn't become a voice crying in the wilderness. On the other hand, that worked out well for a certain Someone, even if it cost John the Baptist his head.
andrew: we have witnessed so many incredible collapses in the last year, and this was one i especially love. poor al. can't wait to unearth him after the thaw.
law:inhofe IS a badass. and he's our voice, our hands, our heart in washington. time to turn up the heat, AGAIN, on global warming hoodlums...
Perhaps you should look up the difference between weather and climate.
zach: why? have the warmists gone BACK to using weather and climate as interchangeable again?!
Global warming affects ocean currents and wind patterns and all sorts of stuff (climate), which then affect local weather, which can create snow. Warming =/= less snow everywhere.
