Blech 1) Ashland Clinic Will Offer Medication-Induced Abortions

Cynthia Pappas, Planned Parenthood's executive director, said the organization's board of directors decided to offer the service to provide women with an option for terminating a pregnancy in the comfort and privacy of home. Medication-induced abortions use drugs to expel a fetus. The federal Food and Drug Administration approved their use in 2000.

Cynthia then offered this: She noted that local doctors who perform surgical abortions are nearing retirement age, and Planned Parenthood wanted to make sure women would have adequate access to the full range of reproductive health care, including terminating a pregnancy.

I write this with a curled lip and queasy stomach. Expelling a fetus in the comfort and privacy of one's home? Really? This is a service to women? The docs are retiring, so let's allow a risky procedure in the privacy and comfort of one's home and hope like hell nothing goes wrong, like a massive bleed-out or a partially expelled fetus. Have we really come to this?! God help us, it is a horror movie in the making.


Blech 2) Pa. Abortion Doctor's License Suspended After Raid

Federal agents raided a clinic where abortions are performed and found "deplorable and unsanitary" conditions, including blood on the floor and parts of aborted fetuses in jars, according to the state agency that shut it down and suspended the license of the doctor in charge.

Ruh-Roh gals, I smells regulations coming to a neighborhood near you if you decide to expel your fetus from the comfort and privacy of your own home. And just a head's up, no need for jars, a clean bucket will do.


Blech 3) Bernie Sanders Compares Climate Skeptics To Nazi Deniers

"It reminds me in some ways of the debate taking place in this country and around the world in the late 1930s," said Sanders, perhaps the most liberal member of the Senate, during a Senate hearing Tuesday. Based on the facts, Inhofe's statement is simple enough.

Isn't this fun? The libs says the right is horrible and that it's reprehensible to compare their tactics to boot-stepping Nazis, but if it suits their purpose, it's OK!


Blech 4) On Health Care: If Not Now, When?

The question for timorous Democrats is: "If not now, when?"

Oh Harold, here is the problem with lefty logic. If not now, when?! That's all you got? As if that's a solid reason to vote FOR health care. Cause if you don't then it might not ever never get passed, right? We know it doesn't matter to you that in its present form it stinks, that all you care about is an image of passing something historic and meaningful (kinda like your guy Barry), but it does to us.

Here's a wacky idea fellas, how about thinking along these lines: If not now, why? That question alone, if answered honestly, would yield you far more understanding of the American heart than anything you have done in the last year.

So, in answer to your question, not today, not tomorrow, not ever never.
