Struggling to salvage health reform, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have begun considering a list of changes to the Senate bill in hopes of making it acceptable to liberal House members, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Because making the bill palatable to liberals is what's important, right?
After Brown's election I heard rumblings about how it was mean of conservatives to be so elated for the WIN. My response was and will remain: We cannot forget what the left intends for this country. Ever. Do not let a sad-faced liberal spouting sad words about losing soften your heart about who it is they are. Liberals/Socialists/Marxists are intent on harming this country in a way that would be incredibly difficult to overcome. As long as they attack, we must be vigilant to their intent and do everything in our power to defeat them.
This week we weren't celebrating their personal defeat, I bet lots of them are nice folks, we were celebrating the defeat of their damaging intent. So yeah, we gonna celebrate a WIN. Especially when we get a WIN like Brown; a WIN against all odds.

Patti: Just when you think it's safe to go back into the water--Democratic Jaws! I am simply unable to believe that my local Marxist, the much-botoxed Nancy Pelosi is really ready to abandon the government health care scheme. She's not personally smart enough to figure out a way to do it, but she has plenty of advisers and colleagues who can tell her how to try. On the other hand, maybe she'll be too busy battling Cindy Sheehan to carry on the losing health care battle. "'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished."

Pelosi and her crew seem so determined to force their way through on these issues, and the rest of their party now seems to determined to run and hide, that I almost expect to hear that a shooting war has begun within the capital.
