Dun Dun Dun...(EDIT 7)

Anything can happen today. Richard Baehr over at American Thinker, lays out the odds as he see it.

There are three possible outcomes today; a very narrow Coakley win (less than 5%
margin), a very narrow Brown win (less than 5% margin), or a decisive Brown win (5-10% margin).

I would put the odds on each of the three possibilities as follows: 30% for a narrow Coakley win, 35% for a narrow Brown win, and 35% for a decisive Brown win. Betters on InTrade
and Nate Silver, the liberal polling guru, seem to agree with this assessment - giving Brown about a 70-75% chance to win.

Gives me shivers. After a year of being beaten up by Barry and Crew, a win here would be a satisfying victory and game-changer for the current administration. Wait and watch, that's all we can do. Unless...if you are reading this from Massachusetts, GO VOTE!

The Dems are FREAKIN' OUT! They are contradicting themselves in public and are stunned that "Teddy's Seat" is in jeopardy, possibly to be lost to the the American people. ~GASP~

Here we have Pelosi threatening you and your silly demands of NOT THIS HEALTHCARE PLAN:

"Let's remove all doubt, we will have healthcare one way or another," Pelosi said during an event in San Francisco on Monday. "Certainly the dynamic would change depending on what happens in Massachusetts. Just the question about how we would proceed. But it doesn't mean we won't have a health care bill."

She's in charge. You can step off. She wants you to remove all doubt. Instead, I propose we remove her. Nanc, you should be looking over the market of whatever it is you do. Should Brown win or lose today, the very uprising of the good people of Massachusetts to take back "Teddy's Seat" should inspire you to update the old resume. And no, we will not write you a letter of recommendation.

While Pelosi is all we WILL have healthcare one way or another, Rep. Anthony Weiner has this to say if Brown wins today (follow the link to a short video of him on Morning Joe):

"I think you can make a pretty good argument that health care might be dead."

Big words. Big stakes.

What to make of the openly opposing views within the same party? Gut says: Pelosi is spinning her intent to ignore the people's overwhelming voice of opposition as good politics and Weiner is thinking about his future in politics. He wants to stay. Cause let's face it, it's the goose that laid the golden egg if you can get it. Just ask Pelosi. She got hers, and if she has to go now, eh, her nest is already feathered. She's more interested in makin' history. Even if that history sucks. As they say in Hollywood: All PR is good PR.

Come on Mass., do this thing for the rest of your country folk. Get 'er done. We are counting on your wisdom based on the fact that In Massachusetts, where 97% of us have health insurance by mandate since 2006, we have learned a few things about health care reform. Dear Readers, if you click over to one thing today, let it be this short article by Dr. Schratz. It's an eye-opener.

That's all for now, chickadees. Check back throughout the day for updates.

EDIT 1: The FREAK-OUT continues. If you can stop giggling for a moment over his spot-on Elmer Fudd impression, Barney Frank is telling you that "we have a serious constitutional problem" (translation = WE MAY LOSE OUR MAJORITY!) and he has a plan to fix it with the help of fellow dems, and maaaaaaybe a few repubs (don't count on it, sir). Go HERE to listen to the short clip.

Master Piece Theater it ain't, but it is ohso entertaining. Thanks Barn.

EDIT 2: As I stated originally, win or lose today, the Dems are in trouble and they seem to be just now figuring it out. Nevermind that we told them ALL SUMMER LONG.

The possible loss of a U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts has Democrats on edge 3,000 miles away in California, where party activists fear a GOP upset today could trigger a conservative wave and swamp health care reform and the 2010 midterm elections.

EDIT 3: POW! BANG! BOOM!

The implosions continue:

For the pundits on MSNBC and the liberal blogosphere, the prospect of a Scott Brown victory in the Massachusetts Senate race has provoked the kind of doomsday rhetoric not heard since a certain Texan was president.

Liberal talker Ed Schultz recently told radio listeners that if he lived in Massachusetts he’d try to vote 10 times, claiming that he’d “cheat to keep these bastards out.”

The libbies are clutching their chests and picking up their rocks as expected and predicted. What will they call Schultz for promoting voter fraud? Is he a radical extremist? Is he part of an angry mob? Is he a tea-bagger (their term)? Ewww, don't answer that.

EDIT 4: Won't they look silly if Coakley wins?!

The votes aren't even counted and Coakley is blaming the WH and the WH is responding with a rousing, "Liar Liar Pants on Fire!"

Oh Mama!

EDIT 5: Hat Tip Big Government (crank those speakers...trust me)

Be still my patriotic heart.

EDIT 6: Fox News is reporting that with 52 percent of precincts reporting, Brown has 53 to 47 percent lead over Coakley.

Let freedom ring baby.

EDIT 7:

FOX NEWS DECLARES SCOTT BROWN WINS SEAT!!!!

I love the utter panic that is setting in on the left over this. They are starting to realize that if they can't push Taxachussettes to the left, then they have no chance with the rest of the country!

What is disturbing is how one news station was talking about Haiti and then said, "Another crisis is brewing in Massachusetts...", talking about the election. UNBELIEVABLE.

andrew: light meet bulb! BING!

yoyo: to a lib, this election IS a bigger disaster than haiti. just ask 'em.

I'm having a ball watching the barely-controlled hysteria in the Pelosi camp. As her statements become more ridiculous and threatening, I also sense the exasperation and anger at the American people for not understanding that their socialist agenda is "good for everyone." Her comments about "health care no matter what" sounds a lot like whistling in the dark.

law: i've been saying the ride has been great today, win or lose. i want a win, but watching the dems implode is a WIN all itself. WE SEE YOU!!!
