Yes Barry, but what about your reality of being a one-term, freedom-grabbing, contrary, your damning policies at all costs, turn on the people that elected your behind into office, kinda president?
"You know, there is a tendency in Washington to believe our job description, of elected officials, is to get reelected.
"That's not our job description. Our job description is to solve problems and to help people."
What's holding you back, bub? If this is what you came to do, then do it. Or do you think you are helping folks by heaping on debt, restricting business, and the vicious name-calling of those who disagree with you or your questionable abilities?
Conservatives have always known that. We saw right through to your core, and those you kept company with, even before the election. Thankfully, many more are awaking to the fact that your agenda is KING. Your presidency has nothing to do with your popularity. The low polling numbers reflect how well-liked your policies are. (DO NOT LIKE!) Has nothing to do with your personal popularity. That you twist it back to you personally, is a large part of the problem. YOU AREN'T LISTENING; YOU DON'T CARE TO LISTEN. The laughable part is you still hope that folks are buying your twisted image. We've seen what you hope to change and frankly, Bar, the majority of us want no part of it. Matter of fact, we'd like you to stop screwing with us.
But in the interview, he dismissed the idea of using opinion poll performance as a barometer of his presidency.
"I went through this (in the 2008 election campaign).
Many have speculated that health care would be your Waterloo, sir. I predict your blatant and consistent disregard for the people and their vocal charge to you and your crew, will be your undoing. You recently announced the reassembling of your '08 election team to help in this year's elections. I can only assume you are betting on their success again. Stick with what works and all. You successfully hoodwinked many Americans back in '08, let's see if you can do it a second time, right?
But if I may Mr. President, it's a new day and folks are mad as hell and yep, they ain't buying your nasty house brand of bologna anymore. We're worth more than that.
So, keep on telling yourself that you're doing a great job. Keep on believing that poll numbers do not matter on these issues. Keep on clinging to what worked before you pissed off a nation.
And sir, while you're at it, say hello to Brown for me, would ya? K-thx.

I am all for him being a one-termer! I'm glad he seems to be fine with that too. . . less crying that way when we dump him! :-)
