My first reaction was the wannabe hood classic "Oh no he di'it!" ~snapping fingers thrice and in a Z air pattern here~ Harry, you be making my entry write itself, homeboy.

History shows that the Democratic party WAS (and as you shall see, i contend still IS) the party who loved them some slavery. Dems didn't like that Republicans, the party of liberty for all men and of an anti-slavery mindset, were messing with their property, IE slaves. Property, that's how those who owned slaves looked upon these people. They were property. Something that they owned, mocked, beat down, raped, killed without consequence, worked to the death or sold at their whim (any of this sounding familiar within our current political climate?!)

Let's see what the liberal bastion of PBS has to say about what Dems thought about Republicans hollering for freedom:

Well, well. From one of their own about their own. Ouchie. That has to sting and leave a welt.

Was it a Dem, a libbie, who freed the slaves? Who spilled their brother's blood to end the bondage of the slaves? Who almost broke this country in half making sure that all men could enjoy freedom? Was it a Democrat? Hmmmm? What was that? It was a Republican? Abraham freaking Lincoln? Gotcha. Just putting it in black and white for douchebag Harry to see.

Harry, in response to your asswipery, I contend that the Democratic Party is STILL fighting FOR slavery. You hope to strip the freedoms of all men, but especially the poor (come on, we all know you see them as easy prey. they are harder hit by economic conditions and could most assuredly use the handout. yet, free healthcare for the poor = shackles for all). In this country the poor are overwhelmingly people of color. Sneaky, Harry. Preying on the least educated and most needy among us is shameful. Me thinks you made a deal with the debil, because what you are doing is evil.

If your diabolical plan rolls forward it will attempt to break the backs of all Americans nevermind what color they are, but especially the poor. Yet, you would never say that. Winkity wink. You would never tell the poor and uneducated. those you pretend to love so much, those you pretend to give a hand up to, those you pretend to want to make things right after slavery even though you are the guys that wanted them in their place to begin with (still do it seems), about what healthcare will really do to them. Tell them! Tell them that you hope to steal their hard-earned money. That you hope to hold them in their place of poverty. That you hope they become so enslaved that their only choice is to vote you in over and over again so their source of income doesn't dry up, so their children can eat and maybe sleep in a Section 8 housing, if they are lucky.

TELL THEM!
